Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday: Is your Amazon portfolio ready?

Amazon Prime Day, one of the largest sales events on the online marketplace, opened the Holiday Season offers on Amazon on October 13. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are also just around the corner. This is the time when customers start looking for offers for Christmas presents.

These events are a great opportunity to generate traffic to your product pages and ultimately increase sales. Now is exactly the right time to review your own Amazon portfolio and make sure everything is running smoothly for the upcoming Amazon Sales Events.

We have put together a checklist with seven points to check your Amazon account – so that everything is prepared for the upcoming deals.

Logistics

The requirement for all Amazon Black Friday and Cyber Monday offers: Make sure that your products are in stock and available at Amazon.

Content

Next, the Amazon content must be checked: Are the product titles, bullet points and descriptions uploaded correctly? Is the content optimized to maximize search visibility?

Does the content provide enough information for a successful conversion? (This is especially important for higher priced products!)

Are there enough images available? We recommend at least 7 product images on the product detail page to get the most out of the Amazon PDP.

Offers

We recommend also going through your own Amazon offers again: Are all offers approved and active?

Advertising

Since more potential customers are looking for the best deals because of the Amazon Events, checking advertising measures is worthwhile:

Are all focus products included in the advertising campaigns? Do the Amazon campaigns bid on the right keywords and ASINs?

If possible, campaign budgets should be increased, as there will be an increase in traffic and clicks. To avoid running out of budget in the middle of Black Friday or Cyber Monday, more will be needed here.

Amazon Brand Store

The Amazon Brand Store should also be optimally prepared for the increased traffic and still support the advertising campaigns:

Are the offers in the Brand Store highlighted? Have campaigns been launched to advertise the Brand Store’s offer pages?

Virtual bundles

With cleverly arranged bundles, sales can be boosted considerably. Hence you should also check these too:

Have relevant product bundles been created for cross-selling in your own catalog?

Brand recognizability

In general, when creating Amazon campaigns and ads, it is important to ensure that the brand presence, creatives and communication across all online platforms are coordinated. This ensures that your own brand image and message are communicated in the same way on each platform. This makes it easier for potential customers to recognize the brand and increases the chance of purchase.

We wish you a successful Black Friday and Cyber Monday – let the Amazon Sales Events begin!
