Amazon launches a shopping video channel that is available on Freevee and Amazon Prime. More and more companies are using AR – are we facing a revolution in the e-commerce? And: eBay introduces a new AI tool called “Shop the Look”. Find out what it looks like and more below.

Amazon is introducing a new content module called “Complementary Product Sets”, which can be found in Seller Central in the A+ section. These product sets are displayed below the “Above the Fold” area and offer the option of displaying products from the same collection or series. There are currently two different display options:
- Single image with text (one image with up to three additional ASINs on the right-hand side)
- Product presentation cards (4 ASINs with an eye-catching black heading at the top)
This function was introduced in Vendor Central under the name “Brand Collection BETA”.

Amazon launches live shopping video channel
According to a press release, this will be available on Freevee and Amazon Prime, offering a seamless combination of entertainment and a variety of shopping options.
- YouTubers, influencers and brands will present new products on the channel.
- Users who type “Shop the Show” into the search bar in the Amazon app on a mobile device will simultaneously see a carousel of images with all the featured products.
- These can then be added to the shopping basket with a click.

eBay presents new AI shopping tool
The new AI tool is called “Shop the Look”, and is designed to make it easier to search for fashion and accessories on the platform.
- The tool analyses users’ personal style by creating tailored outfit suggestions in a carousel based on the products they have already viewed.
- The technology behind “Shop the Look” comes from the company’s own AI development, which has already introduced functions to improve product images and description texts.
- At the moment, “Shop the Look” is only available on iPhone in the UK and USA.
