Amazon Info
Amazon is delivering 48 percent of its US parcels by itself. The other half is shared by USPS (33 percent), UPS (16.5 percent) and FedEx (1.5 percent). The data is sourced from Rakuten Intelligence, who analyzed millions of Amazon package tracking numbers. The same development is to be expected in Germany and other markets: The huge market share of Amazon, especially in Germany with around 50 percent of all e-commerce, compared to the US with around 20 percent, and the fact that more and more sellers are shipping with Amazon, are supporting that assumption. Rivian is one of the most promising, serious competitors in the EV market and could influence the future of Amazon Logistics with autonomous electric vehicles. Link
