Leifheit uses Remdash to keep Amazon content up to date and save time

The Challenge: Amazon content is unintentionally changed

Content (product descriptions and images) on Amazon’s product detail pages is often changed without any influence from sellers or vendors. This is usually due to either errors in the backend or other retailers offering the same products and overwriting the original content. The problem? These unauthorised content changes can have serious consequences for brand manufacturers like Leifheit: poorer rankings, loss of Amazon labels (e.g. “bestseller”) and less sales.

Although maintaining content on Amazon is a key issue for retailers, the platform itself does not offer a solution. In the past, this meant a great deal of effort and monotonous work for Leifheit to manually check its own products on all 7 Amazon marketplaces for correct content.

The company was therefore looking for a solution that would make it easier to control and correct its own product content – ideally as time-saving and automatic as possible, so that the team could focus on more important tasks and projects.
